To find commonality, look for the 4 points to someone

I try and get along with everybody, that is just whom I am.
If you want to know my secret here it is;
Realize that all humans have 4 things about them:
Everyone has a collection of something; big, small, one collection, many collections of things…..
Everyone has a has a hobby of something; cheap, expensive, one, many……
Everyone has a demon that they are battling. Could be size of a spider-monkey or size of a blue whale….
Everyone has a Vice that they have; could be hidden or right out in the open
Some of these can overlap and even all 4 be the same thing. (An example I give is: someones Lawn, it can be their collection [or tools to take care of it], can be their hobby, can be their demon, and their vice)
People will never get rid of any one of these, they will simply exchange it for another, someone may drop one vice and pick up another, someone may drop one collection while picking up another, someone may drop down to one vice but never go to zero.
If you can find similarity with another person that can relate, they will talk to you and tell you about themselves.
Since I have had/have MANY hobbies over the years, I can do my best to find a similar cousin that can transition to what their hobby is, and we can talk about how similar they are….
