People NOT property

Warning: Long Rant to just clear my chest.

I seen what happened recently and I need to take a public stand.

An area near me recently reluctantly voted on taking a step on making women more 'just property'.

Let me go a bit in depth. This bill was to ban abortions in the city, making it the largest 'sanctuary city for the unborn', but most people hear certain trigger words and will follow even if it even against their best interest. People hear the sensational words of 'abortion' and will immediately knee-jerk in a manipulated way.

How are women treated as 'property', I will take this approach:

Hypothetically; if a man, say 19years old, decides he does not want to have kids, there is a nothing stopping him from going get a vasectomy. Just walk in, request it, pay, and it will be done

With that same hypothetical, if a 19year old woman decides she does not want to have kids, she is NOT allowed to decide herself to get a hysterectomy. She would need her owners (Husbands') permission to get one. She does not have full ownership over her own body, she is property.

Look at a 'traditional wedding' first thing that is stated: "who gives this woman"....."her mother and I" is the traditional response. It symbolizes transference of the woman as property from her father to her new owner husband.

Now the people have spoken, women if they need to make the decision if they need to have control over their own body's.... they are NOT allowed to make that tough decision. People that will never walk a mile in that persons shoes have spoken.

Amongst other things, I can not even imagine the toughness of that scale of decision, but if that decision is needed, I will not tell a human that she is not allowed to because she is owned by someone else.

Please don't get me wrong, Abortions are and should be a tough decision by a individual. If it is not difficult, then there is more likely a underlying issues that can/needs be addressed.

In a utopia there would be none, but we do not live in a utopia, we live in a world with rape, we live in a world with incest (maybe even both), we live in a world where pregnancy might be 'high risk' where chances are beyond acceptable by someone.

I have seen and heard several comments 'Praise God this passed', but taking away the sensationalism, what the underlying tone is 'Praise God, one step closer to women are more like property',

Unfortunately......in some churches that is what they want.....

{note: this issues does not directly affect me in any way shape or form, I do not live in this city, I do not live in this county, I am just couch quarterbacking here.}

I will take this approach and hope you take my words well.

There are 2 basic ways to control and manipulate people. Either by Love or; by Fear.

People will try to control and manipulate other people through triggering by one of these two base emotions.

For someone to lead or control another threw Love is tough, to do it out of Fear is easy and the default of what most people go-to.

The direct spouse of Fear is Hate, the two go hand and hand.

Part of controlling out of fear, they will make a group/idea/thought the ‘other’ and make people both fear and hate that ‘other’, if they are real or not is irrelevant as long as they have people focused on that.

Once people focus on that fear and hate, it seems that they are going to stay there with their cognitive bias, and no matter how much facts are presented, in their mind they are justified in their heads that they are in the right.

I weigh most information presented to me on this basis. If someone presents stuff to me in a way to control/manipulate me on the basis of fear/hate, I do my best to see through it (I am human and slip occasionally, but I hopefully will catch it over time because over time it does not pass the hypocrisy test). If others wish to be controlled and manipulated, that is on them and for them. Once they hate/fear, facts go out the window, people can not be bothered with them.

People are presented with triggers in the hopes to control and manipulate them, and people are to weigh for themselves if it is out of Love for something or trying to Fear something.

In 1John it states that God is Love…. So if the antithesis of Love is Fear…. what happens if people following Fear ?????

I choose to Love, I choose to look for solutions that uplift others because of Love. I talk to people that they have heard fear/hate and will dish out more hate/fear because they have been manipulated that fear/hate is good, and match their biases.

With that being said, you can look back and see and I can ask, is anything being stated because of Love, or out of Fear/Hate.

I feel that out state you hate/fear some ideas because you were told to, facts don’t matter, Real/imaginary, you present that you don’t care.

Your present that you hear triggers that has been stated to you over and over to hate/fear, and spout hate/fear in kind.

There is statements of absolutes, every issue has more nuance to them, working in absolutes presents distancing of ‘others’ (A.K.A. “you are with me or you are against me”). I do my best to present that there is nuance….

I just have to live in a world full of bad faith actors trying to control others to be bad faith actors.

Controlling and manipulating zealots get their ideas and beliefs Ala-Carte Bible. They will pick and choose what they follow out of the Bible to suit their own agendas on what they like and what they want, They will pick THIS but ignore THAT. Including the main topic of THIS discussion. People say they wish protect the unborn, but ignore the trial by water in Numbers 5, Ignore the specific talk about cutting women open and killing the fetus in 2Kings 8 AND 15 because they are ‘others’. There are more, but people show that they don’t care, Ala-Carte Bible.

I am seen as ‘other’ and with that see only what you want to see, hear only what you want to hear. There is NOTHING I can do otherwise. I will have what I put forth twisted and not read in context.
